JOIN DAPL

Dear Prospective Member,

We are happy to hear of your interest in becoming a member of the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen.

REASONS FOR BEING A MEMBER OF THE DAPL AT THE DIRT CHEAP PRICE OF $5.42 A MONTH.

1) Maintaining your professional status in the business community at large. Being a member of your local association is something you will have in common with other professional people in your area.

2) Educational Benefits: Members pay less than non-members and this difference will increase in the future. Attendance at the monthly meetings also offers the opportunity for you to earn CPL, RLP, CLE and other recertification credits inexpensively. Either of these benefits pays for itself by way of the annual dues.

3) Maintaining and updating your knowledge base: "being on top of your game". Our award-winning monthly publication of the Rocky Mountain Landman has grown in recent years from 8 pages to MORE THAN DOUBLE THAT. It is the best source of regional legal updates on a variety of issues related to our industry. It also keeps you informed of upcoming business, charitable, educational and social events throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.

4) Free access to the Denver Earth Resources Library where you will find up to minute data from Dwight's, M J Systems, PI, Mapco, Herndon, Asset Clearinghouse Well Datasheets, and many others. Your membership will also provide reciprocal free access to similar libraries in Midland and Tulsa.

5) And finally what this business and the DAPL facilitate most - meeting and greeting people - whether it be within our profession or related groups. These opportunities occur on the gun range, the greens, the slopes and at our seminars and luncheons. The DAPL is where you will find friends, hear the great stories, and meet that person you have been talking on the phone with for years.

In consideration of the above information we propose a trade. The DAPL will provide you with the above stated benefits and opportunities, and you can offer your support by becoming a member. To signify your acceptance of this offer, just execute the enclosed membership application and send it and your check for $65.00 to the letterhead address.

Please contact myself (303-850-1917) if you need assistance in finding a sponsor. Chances are that you know someone who is already involved with the DAPL who would be glad to sponsor you.

Very truly yours,
DENVER ASSOCIATION OF PETROLEUM LANDMEN
Jane Crouch, CPL, Former Membership Chairman
